Two people, a ute, and a shed full of half-finished projects.
Oddment is Dan and Priya. He spent fifteen years as a chippy on big commercial builds; she ran painting crews across the north side. The builds kept getting bigger and the work they liked best kept getting smaller. So they flipped it.
Now the whole workshop is built around the small end of the trade: the jobs too odd for a big crew and too fiddly for a specialist. A morning of drawers. A gutter before winter. The shelf that has been leaning against the garage wall since 2021.
The name comes from the offcut bin. An oddment is the useful piece left over when the good timber has been cut. It is also most of what a house is full of — and it deserves better than the bottom of the to-do list.

Fixed quotes, always
The price we write down is the price on the invoice. If the job turns out smaller than quoted, the invoice does too.
We bring drop sheets
And we use them. Floors covered, benches cleared, dust vacuumed, the kettle emptied on the way out.
If we crack it, we say so
Things get knocked in old houses. If it is us, you hear it from us first, and we fix it before we leave.
